Welcome to MUACC 2008!
Details for the Midwestern Universities Analytical Chemistry Conference are pending. This site will be updated with details about the conference as soon as they are finalized
Information for presenters can be found on the Talks and Posters page.
The first Midwestern Universities Analytical Chemistry Conference was held in 1946 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with the goal of strengthening the common threads that bind and define analytical chemistry. Sixty years later, the faculty of the Indiana University invites you to Bloomington to reconnect with old friends and colleagues and meet some of the new people who are helping shape the dynamic landscape of measurement science.
MUACC is a chance for those interested in research, teaching, and service in the broad context of analytical chemistry to gather to exchange ideas and report on cutting-edge work in progress. The meeting will be held November 13–15, 2008.
All attendees are invited to give oral presentations of varying levels of formality—from chalk talks to PowerPoint. Contributors are especially encouraged to present their most recent results rather than recount literature publications. The length of talks will be determined closer to the conference date to reflect the number of submitted titles. As is traditional, senior postdoctoral associates who will be looking for academic positions in the fall/winter 2008-2009 are also welcome to attend.
We look forward to seeing you all in Bloomington on the 13th. As always, if you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact us.
